Questions & Answers
I have created a separate discussion topic to collect questions about the mod in one place. Here I will write some frequently asked questions.

Feel free to ask any questions here if you still haven't found the information you need!

Frequently asked questions:

Q:
Where is all content?
A:
Status and Settings of the mod can be accessed via Context Menu. You can find all items in entities tab, called "RaPD: Medicine" and "RaPD: Food".

Q:
How to use items?
A:
Every item have a list of actions that include universal "Throw Out" action to drop item to the floor. you can find list of these actions to the right of the use button (green checkmark). Click to the action name and you will expand list of all actions.

Q:
Checkmark for using is grey, i can't use item, what's wrong?
A:
Some actions can be applied only on specific body parts (e.g. eating burgers needs to be targeted to the head, splints are working only on limbs, etc)

Q:
I'm dropping blood with strange sound, what's going on?
A:
You have damaged lungs, so you throw out blood. Fix your organs with surgery before you died from suffocation!

Q:
I'm dropping alien blood with strange sound, what's going on?
A:
Probably you ate too many food, or your stomach was damaged, so you will get poison damage. Fix the body organs and then eat Charcoal to heal from poison damage.

Q:
I was damaged and now I'm blind!
A:
Your eyes can also be damaged and this will result in complete blindness with a small visible and smoothed grayscale area. Fix organs to the head and you will be fine.

Q:
Bloodbug is so slow, is it really worth it?
A:
Bloodbug is a source of universal passive injection of any ragents into the circulatory system. Best way to realize it is just inject needle to the arm and then making surgery. You can throw out bloodbug to the floor by using it's actions tab, and just keep it close to you or your patient. That makes more space in inventory. Bloodbug will continue to work without problems, but don't move away from it or you will be damaged and get a small wound with bleeding!

Q:
How to heal "some type of" damage ?
A:
Anything but genetics damage can be healed. You can find the possible uses of each item in their description.

Q:
What if I don't know what type of damage is this?
A:
You can check what damage exactly you have with Davanced Scanner. Every damage have a variety of "visual symptoms" that are always writes in left tab of the Status menu. If the damage is heavy - the symptoms will be more serious. Some types of damage have same symptoms, and are harder to be recognised without advanced tech, like a slight suffocation and slight poison.

Q:
Suffocation can't be healed?
A:
All Suffocation is cured naturally when your lungs are fine and there is no problems with blood. If you have suffocation - it's probably just a bloodloss.

Q:
I used Surgery Medkit but stopped action. Now I'm bleeding!
A:
This bleeding from incision can be healed as always, by using bandages. Surgery Medkit also have action named "Close the surgical incision" specially for the correct (and very fast) interruption of any surgical operations.

Q:
How to recognise Internal Organs Damage?
A:
You can scan with the Advanced Scanner or read your "thoughts", which appear as red shaky text in the center of the screen. These thoughts are explain the pain the character is experiencing right now, and will help you understand where you were injured most dangerously.

Q:
I found out that one of my addons is breaking RaPD mechanics.
A:
Please report this to Technical Issues. I can make fixes for anything that can be reproduced in my game, including other addon conflicts.

Q:
Can you add <...> addon support ?
A:
Sometimes it's much harder than just implementing fixes because it needs new mechanics to be developed. In my plans to add compatibility for JMod.

does arm damage do anything currently? from what i can tell it doesnt have any effect outside of the standard bleeding

i have an idea for adding a cure to genetic damage, iron pills, they used these back in chernobyl and they greatly helped against radiation poisoning

also as for a side effect for genetic damage, you should cause it to make you vomit or cause extreme weakness (basically just slowing your character down in every which way possible that you as a developer can come up with, basically radiation damage will completely #### you over if you dont have iron pills)

Is there a way to give items on spawn/loadout system? I don't think there is but I just want to make sure. My problem is that I want to have the advanced scanner with me at all times and when I die I don't wanna have to respawn it and put it in my inventory.

do regular half-life health kits do anything? i'v noticed jmods do something but not so much with normal medkits. sometimes they heal a bit sometimes they don't
also are you planing to add a feature to fill empty blood bags and syringes.

i think it has to do with having a low amount of blood i'v used syringes and it seemed to work but you do need ALOT of syringes or blood bags and it can take a while to fully heal

Yes, the most common suffocation source is bloodloss.

Injecting it's contents into the circulatory system. Now there is only syringe with Nutrients. I will add more in future.
