Attach your log to help diagnose the problem. Copy and paste the log to a text sharing website like pastebin and link it here.
If you're on windows the log file is located in:
Users\%USER%\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Player.log

Attach your modlist as well. Same procedure as the log.
If you're on windows the mod list file is located in:
Users\%USER%\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config\ModsConfig.xml

Hey, great seeing this mod revived, however I am experiencing a problem with the fabricors unable to do smelting type jobs with this mod on I was using the old mod before and switched to this new one until I noticed this problem, switching back to the old one seems to have reverted the issue I am using Complex Jobs and the mech work tab mod which is how I saw they were unable to do smelting jobs because of "current health issues" despite it not having taken any damage.

I did try making a new one to see if it's only old ones that were already created before the mod switching having this issue but the new one also can't do it either.

Also the rancher mech seems to be unable to harvest resources from the Slurrypede and Assembler mechs from alpha mechs despite them being harvested like animals and needing to be able to do handling jobs to do. I had another mech that normally has handling jobs enabled but they can't do it either so I'm unsure if it's a problem on both handler mechs or if it's a problem with Alpha Mech mod directly.

For the fabricor, this mod doesn't alter the behavior of fabricor mech, did you mean Scavoid?
As for the rancher, its normal because those 2 have a specific jobtype to harvest them which is added by Vanilla Expanded Framework as I see from testing, ill make a patch to make it work soon
No no, I do mean the fabricor and not the scavoid, the scavoid works perfectly fine from what I've seen but for some reasons I cannot even begin to explain when I have this mod on it makes the fabricors unable to do smelting job, using the mech work tab mod I can see jobs set like for colonists and only the smelting job is highlighted in red and says "this colonist is unable to do any work of this type because of their health condition" when hovering over it, it's only the smelting jobs, every other jobs works correctly, I just tried with a new colony and it still does it, when removing the mod its back to being able to do smelting again and the red highlight in the work tab is gone.

Also thanks for the patch to make ranchers able to interact with alpha mech producers.

That is strange, and it only happens when this mod is enabled huh? I checked the logs and it didn't have any information pertaining to what you said at least from what I gathered. Can you post your modlist as a collection on steam, ill try to check it on my side

So its not the problem with this mod, if you hover over smelting work type it has no jobs, thats because you have Recycle this installed, which also adds a worktype Recycle which has smelting, recycling and destroying items, which overwrites Smelt. And if you check, all your colonists also have the same thing when hovering over smelt

Uh... I see.. But then why was the problem I had only showing up when I installed THIS mod for me and why does it go away when I deactivate it..? That doesn't seem to make much sense at all..

Ok so I did try to activate this mod again and disable recycle this and it does in fact fix it, still tho, It's weird that it wasn't doing it until I installed this mod specifically when I already had the recycle this mod in my mod list beforehand.

Have you installed complex mods alongside this mod? Because it might've been because of that one.
Update: Yep, I tested it, removed this mod and the fabricor still couldn't do smelting. I probably should've specified but this mod doesn't need Complex Jobs to work properly anymore, I patched everything to work natively without requiring Complex Jobs.

Ah I see! Problem is that I also use complex jobs for my normal pawns too which I do find useful to specify what I exactly want my pawns to do so I think I'll just let go of recycle this instead, Either way thank you very much for taking the time to help figure this out and how to fix it!
