Review of this mod
Probably one of the coolest mods I have used in ARMA 3 so far. I created a mission having this monstracity of a ship aid in a beach assult from 4km out of the NE airfield on Altis. I equipped the enemy airfield with 40 CAS aircraft, 8 heli's, 4 tank platoons, and 8 squads of 8 men, totally for a pretty hefty defensive force for a small airfield, with the assulting force just being 2 gunships with a squad on each, and 4 assult boats with men riding along. The NATO beach team deployed at 5km, a klick behind the Iowa, and made it to shore while the destroyer was still at 2km, but by the time they had made it to the airfield to engage the enemy, there was about 3 OPFOR squads left, in complete dissaray. The Iowa is a HUGE asset for any missions you create with beachside assults, with its range incredible. I would love for someont to create a campaign with it, perhaps assiting in the complete takeover of one of the islands. It takes an insane force to take down this ship, so if the mod author created something to counter it on the OPFOR side it could make for some really intense battles.

yea i sent 50 jets and 30 boets and 20 helys and it did not blow up...it just killed the driver nothing else (1 ship vs all) (ship won)

Amazing mod and one damn late reply for Dsylexci. Ever tried taking an empty lowa and putting OPFOR in it? then take another LOWA and put NATO in it.

Awesome mod. I sunk one (By accident) and took a screenshot of it in Davy Jones locker. (Bottom of the ocean)

I've spent an hour trying to get the damned thing to sink, even tried setting the health to it's lowest possible setting. I only ever blew one up once and that was because I spawned it on an airfield to try and look at everything.

how do i drive the ship and use the main guns?

How did you accidentally sink a battleship?

Hey!
Once you put the Iowa in at sea in any Map in the Editor, check Attributes of all the AI in the Ship and make them playable. Check "Player" for the Commander, for example.
Under Attributes(Scenario) check "enable teamswitch". Host it in Singleplayer and voilà.

However, do not try to use the ship in multiplayer at all!!! -it crashes the game (dedicated server and normal multiplayer server ;( ). Getting out of or inside the ship is nearly impossible, at least very unreliable(see readme!!). But you can use it as a) Ambiance b) AI powered arty support or c) AI- remote controlled by Zeus. In Ace make sure you allow the mk6 mortar computer, since the Main Turret A, B and C sights are totally bugged now. Good Luck :)

PS: and NEVER turn or move the ship via Editor or Zeus(except movin it manually with the remote controlled driver) - chances are high you ungroup the ship's objects and leave it in unrepairable disarray(ship statics do not delete in editor or zeus, only the guns do!)
