Rubric marines are quite bonkers. High armor, air shield, a whole host of resistances, lots of hp, and a ranged attack that ignores armor (and, redundantly, shields?). Recommend some kind of nerf.

Are you playing them exclusively against vanilla, or against my other mods? My Warhammer mods are generally designed to be played against one another, with less consideration given to vanilla.

They’re certainly strong by vanilla standards, but I’ve personally never found them too outstanding in their intended context. I recently buffed their price, as they didn’t seem to get summoned often.

I played them against your guard, who can't deal damage they don't resist, and can't attack them without rolling airshield. expensive tank units described in-game as 'heavy infantry killers" go rounds and rounds dealing minimal damage to these things.

That just sounds like poor luck, as I have had rather the opposite experience with them. A Lascannon getting a solid shot off will kill one easily, if it breaches the airshield. Astartes are Astartes, I won’t be nerfing them.

Tanks will probably get tweaked in the future, as more of my classes have access to anti-tank weaponry, I can safely make them more effective.

They’re also not entirely immune to fire, only resistant- worst comes to worst, a Guard player can easily just shell them with artillery. Rubrics are Slow without the help of a Sorcerer of Time, so an army with them shouldn’t be hard to outrun.
