I believe its because AT weapons have become MUCH better, therefore tanks are not like in vanilla Hoi4.

The units that push best are actually IFVs.

However I find tanks to be very good at attacking other armoured vehicles.


Or maybe it's not intentional at all and I'm making stuff up, who knows
