Bug Reports and Suggestions
NOTE: The comments section of this thread is not to be used for bug reporting or suggestions.

After a recent close encounter with a major bug,[i.imgur.com] I have decided to take an important step in managing the community that is subscribed to this mod. Below lies the rules and recommendations on bug reports and suggestions. These are hugely important to the development of this mod for a number of reasons:
  1. Subscriber interaction. You may not realise it, but I thrive off interaction with my community. I'll take any chance to listen to any of you, and this kind of thing is a brilliant way to do so in a way that benefits me, you, the mod, and the rest of the community.
  2. Better content. Knowing what you want to see in the mod gives me a better idea of where you, the community, want the mod to go and what you want to see in it.
  3. Community building. Interaction with other subscribers to the mod provides both me and you with an insight into how other people are using the mod.
  4. Fixing gameplay-affecting bugs. Duh!

So, without further ado, let us begin!

Bug Reporting
Reporting bugs is incredibly useful. If a bug exists, it's highly likely that I don't know it exists. The list of known bugs can be found here (a link will be added when the "Known Bugs" discussion thread is posted when I release the next update).

Here are the rules regarding bug reporting for this mod:
  1. All bug reports must have [BUG] at the start of the title.
  2. Reposts of bugs that have already been identified or outlined in an existing bug report will be deleted.
  3. All bug reports must be in a posted in their own seperate thread to other bug reports. Reporting a bug in the comments of another bug report will most likely result in it not being seen.

The following is a list of recommendations regarding bug reporting:
  • Make the title short but descriptive.
  • The post itself should be descriptive, with a rough (or detailed) guide on how to replicate the bug if possible.
  • Screenshots are recommended if possible. Images can be uploaded to Imgur and linked in your post.
  • Organise your bug report into paragraphs, if it's somewhat long.
  • If possible, a TL;DR at the bottom is recommended so that other members of the community can quickly and effectively judge if it is a bug that they have encountered.

Members of the community are encouraged to view bug reports and comment on them appropriately. If you see a report about bug that you have also encountered, please say so in a comment.

Suggestions
Suggesting new features, no matter how big or small, is the most effective way for you to have your input on what gets implemented into the mod. Without your suggestions, I have to guess what you want to see in the mod.

Here are the rules regarding suggestions for this mod:
  1. All suggestions must have [SUGGESTION] at the start of the title.
  2. Reposts of suggestions that have already been posted in a seperate thread (not including the comments) will be deleted.
  3. All suggestions must be in a posted in their own seperate thread to other suggestions. Posting your suggestion in the comments of another bug report will most likely result in it not being seen.

The following is a list of recommendations regarding suggestions:
  • Make the title short but descriptive.
  • The post itself should be descriptive, with as much detail regarding what is suggested as you can manage to articulate.
  • If screenshots are relevant, they may help me and members of the community to better understand what it is that you are suggesting.
  • Organise your suggestion into paragraphs.
  • A TL;DR is recommended in situations where your suggestion is either really long or can be described effectively in a small volume of text.

Members of the community are encouraged to view suggestions and comment on them appropriately. If you see a suggestion that you like, please say so in a comment. You are also encouraged to build upon or otherwise improve any suggestions you see via the comments.
