TV Emergency Broadcast Loop
The tv is looping the emergency broadcast "Please, standby. Please, Standby." Continually and won't let me play a VHS tape. Does anyone know any way to fix this?

Disable Day One mod. I'm not sure how the mod links to the TV broadcast, but disabling this mod helps for me. This seem to only happen after full media blackout

So if your continuing your play-through you can safely disable this mod after the events and it wont break stuff? I'm also trying to play VHS and almost gave up till I saw this.

yup, because other than the TV Emergency Audio broadcast loop breaking VHS, I'm also having the issue where NPCs continue to spawn and behave similar to Day One (confirmed that these are not the bandit waves such as cannibals, psychos etc.) without the bombing etc.

I'm already way beyond Day 20+ when I disabled the mod.

Yeah, same problem here. Me and my friends are so confused as why can't we play VHS, and TVs keep chanting the "Please standby" sh!t.

After some hours of pain I finally found the source of problem, which is THIS mod.

Seriously though, normal TV program doesn't play, that make sense.
But why can't the VHS tapes.

Definitely a bug.
