Can I spawn without NPCs?

Hi! Everytime I spawn, there are 2 NPCs spawning alongside me. They're friendly, but I'd love more immersion by spawning alone in my house. Is there a way to disable NPC spawning alongside me?

No but you can eight click their feet and order them to leave you
