Current Issues/ TO DO - To be fixed
-Some models collisions need work, like the huge rocks ect.

-Snow is to bright sometimes. Especially on LDR

-Cave entrance lighting/blending with terrain

-Specular reflection fixes on some models.

-IT SNOWS EVERYWHERE EVEN UNDERGROUND (Need to do more accurate trigger volume placement for snow particles. There is currently one big one)

-Edit the nav mesh

-Skybox is to bright for my liking

-Stars failing to twinkle with HDR on. They blink/twinkle fine in LDR but not with HDR on.

- Need to optimize the map for better FPS and fix VIS. Currently the map is compiled with NO VIS because it wont compile with VIS for some reason.

-Character spawning stuck on one of the spawn points, just no clip out of it if you get stuck...

I think the refractive ice material you used for the layered ice cave geometry might have a giant error texture for the normal map. I say this because there's giant patches of a blurry checkerboard pattern that has drastically different lighting.

By the way, the technique you used (or rather Bungie used I guess) for the ice effect looks pretty nice and I don't believe I've actually seen it done with Source engine maps before.

Thanks, that was my technique, the original halo map is not like that, I was experimenting with making a convincing ice texture and that's what I came up with. But there shouldn't be any errors, All content is packed into the bsp so missing textures shouldn't be possible. Reflections can be affected by some mods, so try disabling all or some addons and see if the texture is still checkered and let me know
