- Shield Brothers
- Ruteni Swordsmen
- Verrix Spearmen
I will start with the Verrix Spears, They are able to bypass the unit size cap, and to my knowledge are the only units in your mods able to do so, so more of a question than an issue, but since I use Medium unit size, why are they able to have 120 men in a company? Other than that, I don't really see OP problem to them, spears are meant to be sturdy and tough and I think the unit does that very well. They are better than the Chosen Spears, but not a Spear Noble by any strech, which is good.
Shield Brothers are a unit I am interested in because while its Defence is the highest of any of Arverni's melee infantry, their attack is quite megre incomparason to the Chosen Swordsman units(27 < 34), but their weapon damage is higher than Chosen Swordsman(45 > 40) which is strange; So I suppose my suggestion is maybe make the SB's Damage equal to the Chosen Swordsman, which would give more Zaz to the following "High" tier infantry of the Oathsworns, Ruteni Swordsmen, and Gergovian Nobles. This would basically make them a grindy melee troop of good quality and great for a more defencive army, without totally overlooking the Chosen Swords, which have more attack and charge than the Sheild Brothers.
And lastly, my biggest cause for this post, the Ruteni Swordsmen. These badass mofo's are basically a Oathsworn that show up on the field 40-50 turns sooner (assuming you dont just rush military tech.) and will totally eliminate the need for Oathsworns all together, with more attack than an Oathsworn at (52 > 48) and more Moral at (75 > 70) and even more charge at (36 > 35) They seem to overshadow the Oathsworn totally. So You can be the judge as to weather to change their stats or the Tech required to sustain them.
Closing thoughts here are maybe you could consider a unit cap if you were not interested in my suggestion, Factions like Sparta have the Heros Of Sparta at a limit of 2 per army I believe, maybe consider that to prevent both AI and human spam.
Cheers for your time Seb!
