1.Side activities or sidequests using the contracts mechanics but adapted to being a lowborn.
2.Mundane activities to reduce stress like go to the alehouse, fishing , going to feasts etc.
3. rebalance or remake how work system goes (it's a bit unfair) at least give random events to interact with the job and have some buffs.
4. join mercenary bands and enlist on some court ( i supose this is coocking somehow).
5. more rabbithole activities in the courts and outside (bcs grand part of the gameplay reduces only to wait to gain coin to buy properties till you can buy land or till you can have a adventure tents).
That's all for now, thank you for making the mod, the idea it's really cool, good luck!
2. Unfortunately unlanded characters cannot take any decisions, or host activites (They can join activities only by being taken by their liege) Though there might be a workaround by joining with interactions, I'll look into it
3. There are a few random events you get everytime you get paid a salary (like oppression, herbalist trait, etc) but I am planning to add more events. The beggar job is the most varied one right now as you can actually pickpocket people if you get promoted to a thief.
4. This feature was already fleshed out and ready for release in the original mod (coming with a questline and rank system), but unfortunately that's when paradox broke the og mod. I'm reworking it right now
5. I'm planning to add a "gossip" interaction to talk with fellow courtiers, and eventually i would like to add proper a way to vie for court positions by competing with other courtiers
Decisions are not working, so a lot things can be added as char interactions. Like go to tavern. Have a conversation with char XY to get some events.
For roleplay-reasons, its really important to add more events or let some events happen for unladed.
Atm. its mostly playing on max speed because nothing is happen and you need to wait for something.
1. more events
-----> random events for immersion and timefiller
-----> special traveling events between courts
2. more char interaction
-----> have a conversation with char XY
-----> go to the tavern
-----> gossip
-----> ask for a courtie position - maybe also special interaction if you get a court position.
3. more possibilities to get money, piety & prestige, also power as admin. courtie.
-----> char interaction to ask for help -> get money, prestige, piety or power
4. more event based jobs with a fix income + event increased income
-----> You go to a city court (baron) and work as architect, taxcollector, XY based on your steward skill
-----> You go to a castel barony and ask to be a bailiff, train the garrison, XY
-----> You go to a temple barony to be a monk, priest, sholar, XY
-----> All jobs are skill based for ex. bailiff need good steward&diplo skill
5. More interactions & events when you get a seat in the council.
So you maybe need more than 50+ opinion, prestige, a courtly position or seat in the council. Something what gives the liege a reason to allow you a noble status. For administrative courtier maybe also influence.
7. Activities - You activity update helped to get more opportunities and action.
---> It would be cool, landless lowborn & nobles (wanderig/guest) get special activities like travel to courts and solve some problems or other stuff to get reputation (opinion), money, prestige ...
If you are a courtier, you get diffrent activities.
I was often set as cortly knight, so maybe a special activity as knight to host a small combat event to train and get connections with other. A mini-tournament.
What would be great is a system based on the camp landless with their activities.
8. Better Estates - Idk its possible or not, but it would be cool to have a similar system to get a estate as landless noble & lowborn. Just maybe with a bit cheaper buildings & stats. So you have a real place to build and you dont loose the stuff after loosing you char or liege.
Lowborns also had the possibility to get a lot money and build an estate.
9. Learn read - just a RP idea: You need to ask a another character to teach you this, same way as the languages. So you have the same scheme mechanic.
10. Join City - Maybe something similar like the "join church". You can join a city, and step through some jobs. You can also go further with some prestige & money to get the whole city as mayor - most cities in CK3 are ruled by lowborn characters. So maybe cool if you want stay as lowborn with some power.
...
Im working on a republican style sucession, playable and enjoyable for players who want play as republic.
Atm. they have a voting sucession - so player can keep playing and dont loose the game after the death of the holder.
Looking forward for other republic mods coming. I also experimenting with administration things inside the republic sucession.
Great job, I'll add it to the desc as a submod
Im not 100% done, but at the moment its good working.
I was also think to add a option to the submod to make theocracies "playable". But it would maybe be better, if you add the specific mod to the list, so player can just play further with another character and dynasty.
I think its very hard to add a dynasty-friendly succession to theocracies, without breaking the whole catholic mechanic for ex. - like the pope^^
PS -----> would be cool if you allow to players to build cities in counties, like the barony castles. So they can build their own republics, if they dont get enough votes^^
I think catholic trinity had a good theocracy system, it functioned similarly to appointment succession, so I'm waiting for that to be updated
Res Publica and catholic trinity could have been used with this mod in conjunction when the old version was up to date
Just theocracies, mostly catholic-christian are a bit difficult to simulate^^ like the conclave system.
catholic trinity was a good mod. I hope they update it.
I plan to add the ability to compete for court positions and contracts you can do when employed as one
