Last Judgement FAQ
My mod isn't working! My enemies are sliding around! AAAAH!

Make sure you have StageAPI and Repentogon installed, and that they are up to date. If issues persist, check the debug console for errors, and if there is one post it to the bug reports thread. If the game crashes unexpectedly, post a log there.

Is this mod compatible with X (other mod)?

-The mod has Fiend Folio crossover content on the Mortis floor!
-The Runs Continue Past Mother mod is compatible with the Mortis floor
-This mod is compatible with Reworked Foes and Restored Monsters Pack
-The mod should generally be compatible with other major content mods

How do I get to Mortis?

Mortis has a 50% chance of replacing the Corpse stage when unlocked. Mortis is unlocked by having Corpse unlocked and having defeated all of the non-final Corpse bosses (Rotgut, Chimera, and The Scourge) at least once. If you have already done all of this on your save file, then the achievement should be granted shortly after starting a run if you don't have it already, and you will be able to get to the floor on that same run.

If you tire of failing the 50% roll to get to the floor, you can type "forcemortis" in the debug console to make the chance of going to Mortis be 100%.

Can you add X in a future update / will more content be added in the future?

Most likely there will be future updates, but what we are adding will likely be kept under wraps so we are free to rework and change ideas/scope as needed. Any teasers/status updates/releases relating to new content will be posted to our Twitter![x.com]

Will this mod become an official DLC in the future?

People say this about every large content mod, so don't hold your breath. Even if our focus is on adding content that was planned to be official, its still an unlikely prospect.

Can you add an option to the disable resprites?

Short answer: No, sorry. Explanation follows.

Basically, adding an option like this would be a significant amount of work, with the possibility of being prone to more bugs than usual, and would make us feel limited in what sorts of things we could resprite or visually touch up. We are approaching the development of this mod as if it were a DLC with the same philosophy in mind, which makes sense as a lot of the content here was stuff that would have been official if development of the Repentance DLC had continued for longer. In the same way vanilla wouldn't add an option to disable the resprite, we won't either because it ultimately is making us do work to appeal to the subjective tastes of some people rather than letting us focus on new content or bug fixes which will benefit and please everyone who plays with the mod as a whole.

Of course the issue becomes that of compatibility of other mods which resprite enemies. If these incompatibilities are a "dealbreaker" for you, you have options to overwrite the resprites of this mod yourself. You can either delete the resprites in this mod's files (though you might need to do this every update), or if you want a long-term solution you can make your own mod in a folder prefixed by "!" (this makes it load before other resprite mods) and put the resprites you like from other mods (or this mod) in that folder to have them always be loaded.

any plans on contacting Ed and adding this missing piece of repentance DLC back into the game once and for all?
Its unlikely to happen and we wouldn't be the ones to instigate if it were. Edmund hasn't acknowledged the mod at all to my knowledge so I wouldn't bet on it.

I'm sorry if this comes across as a stupid question but will there be further resprites in the future? I love the ones added with It Lives, Monstro and Monstro II, and Mega Maw. It would be cool seeing the grimaces (the stone faces that shoot out tears or ipecac shots) and those spiky blocks get some touch-ups.

Also great mod, I loved mortis (even though I only got there once cause I'm a casual player that sucks at the game)

Yes there are more resprites planned, they get added while we aren't working on new content typically.

do you consider making separate mod for all resprites?

@Guwahavel I think Mortis final boss Mother needs to be strengthened because I think Mortis final boss Mother should be stronger than Corpse final boss Mother and in comparison Mortis final boss Mother should have unique new moves and skills.

We aren't going to do this. Mortis is meant to be roughly equal to Corpse in difficulty (in practice its probably a bit harder), Mother is an important story boss who is complex and doesn't need floor-specific changes.

do modded bosses count towards the unlock req for mortis or is it just vanilla bosses

out of curiosity, will you restore antibirth witness fight?

Unlikely, we all feel the changes made in Repentance have a clear intention behind them and are for the better. Antibirth content isn't going to be re-added simply for the sake of it existing but rather if we think it would be a genuinely good addition.

I see your mods adds enemies from antibirth, so I want to know how your mod is compatible with other mods that restore antibirth enemies, and full list of restored enemies.

Is There A Way To Turn Off The Other "Improvements" Beyond The Floor, I Perfer The Original Textures tbh, is it like a dead sea scroll option?
