Can you automatically select the best production giving route each time?
Auto-newing the previous trade route is a problem since the best route to choose isn't always the last one you had. Can you make it where it checks for the best option for production, or whatever the player ones, and chooses that? That'd be really helpful for long games on large maps. I'd like to toggle it off whenever I want to send some to outposts to make them grow, and back on after I have that set.

This is a fairly highly requested feature, and is high up on my to-do list.

The reason I haven't gotten around to doing it yet is because I'm skeptical of how it might affect gameplay.

Like, what happens if the best route happens to be right past an alien nest? Or through contested territory? The player would have no idea why the convey went that way, and no control over it either. And so the convey could very easily die and there's nothing you could do about it.

By the time you have enough trading convoys/vessels to worry with, you would've gotten ultrasonic fence and the quest from it to make them immune to alien attack. If you go to war with someone, then you can just turn off the feature, to make certain your convoys avoid dangerous areas.

I prefer it have "best recommendations". Like have it say "Highest Food" "Highest Production" "Highest Science" etc. next to the relevant stat, per faction.
Also is it possible to add: sort the list by Total Bonus Given?
