Game crashes on 'French generals launch coup' event
As title says - The moment that news event appears, the game crashes to desktop.

Using Manjaro Linux, kernel 6.11.10-2

EDIT: I realized I wasn't actually using Proton at all, so I removed it from the post.

Encountered the same issue. Thanks to your post, though, I had the idea to switch to Proton, copy the save over, and run it for a few days until after the event. I copied the new save back to the Linux runtime and it works just fine now.
