hey, im one of the friends of many devs in TFR, here is the TLDR: Czar wanted to monetize the mod for himself by franchising TFR, and he doxxed people and threaten them to resign, CN and RU-TFR became agitated and EN-TFR joined in. blablabla led to this, the mod isnt dead but its moved.

Had a 180 when it came to this mod, love the mod and keep playing it even if there isn’t too much content, however it is kinda concerning the stuff I been hearing, I really do hope everything gets solved

i would presume what i know

that czar and his group of people wanted the fire rises mod to be monetized behind patreon payed wall so only paid people can access it

1. you cannot do that it goes against paradox own IP and paradox can issue cease and desist letter for breaking agreements made because paradox has made clear all mods should be free to the community

2. the dev team who are revolting want czar and his group of friends from top of command to step down and they have protested this by quitting their job

and i fully support the devs on this! all HOI4 mods should be free for the whole community and never restricted to ANYONE!
