Generally the issue is a lack of content. Japans focus tree is not really complete and is incredibly bare bones atm. China is just much bigger than japan and has a complete focus tree. If more countries get content like India or Australia or Japan gets expanded content like the junta path than the war may be a bit easier. It also dosent help that a lot of the countries by default cant train any more units so china options to buff Pakistan are kinda broken IMO.

Based on what the Devs have said in the Subreddit it's a mix of Japan's content not being finished and the rest of Asia having no content. They are planning to nerf China's buffs in a future update, I believe 1.2

This feeling generally comes from the fact that minor countries lack content, plus China is OP IRL.

the role of Japan is made by Russian group. I do think they need to add more for japan, just like the american troops in Asia, and turn them into Japanese defensive forces )
