Concerns regarding this mod's future - to the devs???
I love this mod, and I've had fantastic playthroughs as all of the 6 playable nations as well as the non-extremist US civil war factions. To me it seems as if there is not a single playable path in this mod that is not enjoyable to a significant degree.

But I've only really found the first playthrough of a nation to have value, every one after that seems boring-even if there may be content just as, if not more interesting in the subpaths not previously explored (with the united states as an outlier and exception). It's to a degree where I've felt finished with the mod, for about 5 months now, and I can't get any more of that first time excitement I got from loading up one of the playable nations for the first time.

Let me give you an example. My first Russia playthrough was AWESOME. I built up my country, sent Wagner forces across the globe, and annihilated NATO in the first European war (not realizing there was a second one.) Then for my next playthroughs things started to change. I was doing the same starting focus tree over and over again, realising that the 3 victors of the Russian elections had essentially the same focus tree, and I couldn't find anything that, again, gave me the excitement I once had in the first playthrough. Was this really all there was to do in this mod: play the same 5 countries over and over, doing paths I can only describe as "the same, but different?"

Recent updates have only worsened by fears. Every single update this mod has gotten has not fundamentally changed the game: the same six countries have been the only playable countries since the very beginning, and updates basically only make minor changes to countries. I'm seriously concerned about the future of this mod.

So why not add content to other nations? I shouldn't have to tell you that the amount of potentially interesting countries in this mod is practically limitless. Could the United Kingdom stand as the only beacon of hope against radical European federalization? Could the United States Naval command put up an honorable fight against the radical unifier of the United States, unifying the united states and truly unifying it's people for once? Could Hungary hold just long enough in the first European war to turn the tide in favor of NATO? or maybe even Russia?

These are all questions I've wanted to ask myself, and I hope you developers can as well. I Know what you all have what it takes-I've played basically all of your nations. I'd very much encourage that you just try and branch out, I know that your work is difficult, and there have been a lot of hurdles in production, but if you were to add more playable nations, it would make me and most of this mod's cult-like following much happier with it.

I think they need to focus on making it stable before adding anything rn. Its a really cool mod but by far the most unstable thing I've ever played. It shouldnt be crashing less than every 5 mins just from basic gameplay things like clicking on states or navy.

Because it is mainly focused on the US and the 2020 civil war.
If you want a bunch of countries in the modern day there is other mods for that, that has a bunch of content for modern day countries.
I much prefer them focusing on the US and expanding the different factions and making others playable. I rather them have a fully fleshed out USA and all their different paths and decisions before going into Japan, China, Germany, Russia or France.

The trailers mainly focus on the USA and the civil war, the other counties are meant to show the consequences good or bad that happen because of the collapse of the USA and are not the real focus point.

From what i have seen as long as you dont left click on cities you are fine

That's a good point. But this issue is what I believe to be one of the mod's greatest issues. When exploring alternate history scenarios in this game, I find it most interesting to uncover the stories not only of the most affected by the scenario, but the hidden stories of the other nations. Let me use an example. The Kaiserriech mod explores a world in which Germany wins the great war, but you dont only play Germany. The whole world changes, from china to america. Just because their different stories are a consequence Germany's victory, doesn't mean they don't have interesting stories and content.

I understand that the core of the mod is about portraying some sort of narrative about modern american politics, but few people actually play the mod to hear it. most people just want to role play as Trump or Biden, play the... interesting other american warlords, or try and make fun by playing other nations of the world.

But I will say this: I totally agree that other american warlords should have content. My personal recommendations would be the "good guys" other Trump or Biden, such as the Naval Command, NYPD, or even the California State Militia (are they good guys tho????), just to name a few. I know that may not be a very popular opinion though, so I would support the mod's current plan to add content to other American Separatist movements.

I'll conclude by pointing out that you bring up a good argument, but I think there's just a bit more that should be added to the mod than the developers may have initially intended.

No way you called trump, biden and the nypd the "good guys". Moderate patriot front is really the only "good" major faction of the civil war.
