Doctrine change causing crash?
Hey y'all,

Im in the late game now of my first run on this mod, managed to beat the ACW as the APLA first try, and wow that was fun and HARD! And despite some crashes here or there its been great if a bit unstable for a HOI mod.

However now that Im trying to regain America's superpower status, I was wanting to switch my military doctrine from asymmetric which I chose basically as a desperate measure to win the ACW against my massive enemy armies. It worked well enough, but now it seems anytime I try to do anything in the doctrine tree other than progress down the one im already on it causes an immediate UGLY CTD leaving me incapable of modernizing my doctrine and going down either the NATO or CSTO trees.

Never experienced crashing on the doctrine menu in any other HOI mod. I am running with player lead peace conferences but that hasnt caused any damage so far so idk?

Is this common for yall or is my run a bit ♥♥♥♥♥ from running an extra mod?

Huh, well I never managed to figure out what causes it and I finished this run weeks ago. Really still stuck on how bizarre it is that it crashes in this way. I have thousands of hours in modded HOI and have never encountered a CTD from the doctrine menu.

No clue man. Like I told the other guy I got thousands hours into modded HOI and never had a crash from doctrines let alone an immediate CTD on the doctrine menu. My solution was just continue on with asymmetric or whatever you're on because any of the doctrines in TFR with good division design can melt anyway. I was gonna go to their community to ask, but their subreddit for some stupid reason doesnt let you ask about bugs and I dont want to join their cancer Discord lol.
