FSD Mod Compatibility - Orbit Zones
Seems to have a slight compatibility issue with this mod. The FSD (release candidate 2) mod seems to crash the game when entering orbit zones. It may sound like an issue for that mod, but from what I understand, the FSD 2 mod disables grid physics, which causes problems with orbit zones trying to get the speed of the ship to match the velocity of the orbit, or in simple terms, pulling the grid along with the planets orbit. When entering said orbit zone, the game crashes. The creator of the FSD mod said it would be as simple as Orbit zones not affecting grids that don't have physics enabled. Not sure if that would be possible, but I would like to see better compatibility and stability because I would really like to travel a large solar system without crashes.

Provided this gets fixed (and if it's an issue with this mod and not FSD), let me know in this thread as I would like to know when to reinstall the RSS mod to get the updated version. Thanks!

Having the same issue rn except I can't leave a orbit zone in any way without crashing, jump drive- crash, flying outside- crash, supercruise- crash. It's a real shame because the mods would pair great together. Guess all I can do is hope that the creator sees this. The only way I can even get out of the zone is by teleporting out of it.

Allegidly the issue has been fixed. I'd say try reinstalling both the solar systems mod(s) and FSD just to see if it goes away, because when I retried it, mine didn't crash anymore.

I tried taking both mods out of my worlds mod list and put them back in and yes it seems it is fixed now! I think the reason it wasn't working was because my world is so old so it never updated the fix. Thank you!
