A few suggestions
I love this mod - as I've commented already, it fills the need for interbellum action and infantry tactics without the tank spam vanilla has; but I've made several observations addressing which would make it even better!

- wrong models for Berdan carbines and dragoon variants: while Berdan 2 model is quite passable, carbine uses Arisaka model, and dragoon uses what seems to be late Carcano, lol
- a typo in Type 38 (mod 1905) Arisaka - "Ariska"

None of these are top priority, being mostly cosmetic.

Balance:
- suppose White Finland research tree could be slightly adjusted? Whites have somewhat harder time unlocking stuff on lowest economy settings, while Reds can unlock a buttload of units right away. Namely, Whites supply boxes/trailers are locked behind two (!) HQ unlocks, while Red aren't (3 points to unlock first crate for Reds vs 8 points to get supply crates for Whites). This may be intentional, but makes for sweaty couple first games. Suggest moving first supply box to within at most 6 points at the start of campaign.
- mismatching ammo. On one hand it simplifies logistics, especially in the beginning when player might not be able to just resupply easily and have to loot a lot - on the other, there's something to be said in favor of historical accuracy. Not sure I need to list all of them, I suspect author is aware Arisakas, Mannlichers, Hotchkiss and obviously Berdans (which were 10,7 black powder) - use wrong ammo). Okay, there were, like a couple thousand conversions of berdan, but on the scale of millions in service they hardly matter
- Winchesters. Man, when I first saw the amount of them I expected to be wiped off my foxholes. First of all one would expect an increased fire rate from Henry action - albeit not much. Currently it's even lower (43) than for Arisakas and G98 (54). Perhaps bump it up to 60-65 per minute?
Secondly, perhaps reduce amounts of those issued to troops? There were like less than 300k of those delivered to Russian Empire amid overall shortages of firearms during WWI, but among millions of Berdans and Mosins they were a drop in the ocean. Perhaps restrict for squadleaders or specialist troops? I mean, many troops don't have medkits (which is fine - represents ♥♥♥♥ supply), but simultaneously having half the squad running around with fancy lever-actions is whack

At any rate, hope these suggestions help, and hope this mod grows and lives on - it's already awesome and I wish you all the best in your efforts!

Thanks for the input, it does help a lot.

The Berdan models are imported from Assault squad 2's Russian civil war mod, I did not pay too much attention to them, but they will remain as they are in lack of better options.

The typo and the winchester's rifle fire rate has been fixed just now and will be included in the next update thanks to you.

The rest I will have to consider, but atleast reworking parts of the research-trees are in my plans.

Glad could be of help! looking forward to seeing more of this)

About Winchesters - I meant the increase to be tied to it being more unique weapon and issued more sparely; currently with increased rate of fire some of the squads might become OP (assault company '18, railroad security '18, "Flying" detachment '18) with no counter from opposing side.

Personally, I don't mind the challenge and playing against odds, just consider if that's the kind of balance you intend to have ;)

Sorry, I missed your response until now. The winchesters, while certainly rare, were as far as I am aware primairly provided to units stationed in Finland and the Baltic region, thus the slight overrepsresentation. Even if there may still be too many of them of course. :)
