the fox is still killable when you have guide to critter companionship ^^; (though i haven't checked as of this latest update but was the case before)

Thanks!! I saw that yesterday for the first time and fixed it immediately

It seems that despite ostensibly being a critter, their entire Bestiary entry is not auto-added by proximity like other critters are.

this should be the case for the normal fox and gold fox, I just checked my script. can you tell me which parts of the entry are missing?

Basically for normal critters like the regular Bunny, just walking up to one adds the entire Bunny and Gold Bunny entry to the Bestiary. But for the Fox and Gold Fox added by this mod, for some reason you need to kill 50 of both to fill in the entire Bestiary entry for them. You need to find 50 Gold foxes and kill them to fill in their entry. I think that is inconsistent with regular critters? And also really hard to do. IIRC the entire entry is missing. Standing next to a fox does not fill their entry in.

I’ll look into that asap! I wanted exactly this to be the case only for the dark forms tho so I have a good idea where I need to fix stuff

Oh yes, I have the evil foxes disabled in the settings if that helps you troubleshoot!

Maybe add a fox pet? From killing evil foxes.
they seem to just casually breathe underwater lol, may have been overlooked
