It works with any other mod currently out there that I am aware of. Unsubscribe, restart steam. Resubscribe, launch game and try. If it still does not work send your godot.log here from that game session.

%appdata% -> Psychopomp -> Logs -> godot.log

Make sure you atleast load into a level before you close the game and send the log so I can see if the script is running.
