Bugs And Issues
If you are experiencing any issues or bugs with the mod please follow the instructions here first and if these don't help reply with your log!

1. Ensure the mod is actually installed, Steam has been weird with Psychopomp mods and is not installing them sometimes. Most users report success by restarting Steam and resubscribing to the mod.

2. Another user reported the mod not loading, and the issue was relating to a empty .txt file in his mods folder, this most likely has nothing to do with this mod, but the way the game loads mods. So make sure there are no random documents or files besides mods in your mod folder.

If those did not work start the game from steam, once it's loaded click continue and into the world map then wait a couple seconds and close the game. Then reply here with your godot.log located in %appdata% -> Psychopomp -> Logs -> Godot.log.

tried tips 1 and 2 but it did not resolve the issue. hope this helps

Are any of the other mods you have installed working? It looks like the game is trying to load the steamworkshop mod 100000 times, try unsubscribing and purging your workshop folder. Then restart steam and resubscribe. Looks like your mods should be installed at roughly '(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Psychopomp Gold\..\..\workshop\content\3243190\'

the strange thing is that when i go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Psychopomp Gold\", i cannot find a workshop folder anywhere within that directory at all. could that have something to do with the issue, perhaps?

if i could just find this elusive workshop folder on file explorer (which is the way i presume you would want me to do it) i could purge it.

as for your question, i had another psychopomp mod that was a crossover with imscared and that worked okay

hello, Ive got a problem with the descend button: it is simply not there. I ascended from the deepest floor without a problem but now i cannot return and Im not willing to play through the game for the 3rd time for 2 achievements :( also it deleted all my keys

massive bug where is you get all keys you cant enter entrance so i cant hear funny music even if i uninstall mod

This should be fixed, it actually was not deleting keys but it rewrote how the game showed locations based on keys. There was a bug where if you replayed a level and went over the games normal amount of keys (6) it acted like you had 0. Now you can collect as many keys as you wish!

Also the logic for the buttons has been improved. But this mod does not edit or modify any save data, just some issues with logic behind reading the data.

I am not sure what you mean there? I just went through and tested each location and I am able to load into them all, if you have any more information or pictures please share!

Unfortunately, the mod does not work in my game and I do not understand why, I tried to restart Steam and reinstall the mod from the workshop, but it did not help in any of the combinations. At the same time, the checkbox "load mods at startup" is enabled and the mod is detected in the game.

My friend who wanted to complete the game for all achievements has the same problem, we went to check the problem in %appdata% -> Psychopomp -> Logs -> Godot.log and found the same error text, I hope this will help in fixing your mod, the text in Godot.log was like this:

Those errors sadly are just the errors you get when closing the game and don't relate to anything modwise. If you don't mind me asking what language are you playing the game in

I play in Russian, I tried to change the game language to English but it didn't help, maybe it's worth changing the Steam language to English so that the game starts with it initially, but I didn't try it yet

Soo I tried switching Steam client to English, but it didn't help at all, PSYCHOPOMP does not have the "language" option in its properties so there is no way I'd run this game in English from the start, even the launch option like "-language english" didn't help

However, I've seen the Russian accounts in commentaries thanking you for the mod, maybe the language is not a problem? Who knows...

I don't believe it to be, I have used this mod with rus language on as well just thought I was getting a lot of issues recently from users using rus language on the game. I will update soon, going to finally rework how this mod works and stop piggybacking off rewriting the game files.

Does not function with the recent update
(can access different layers, completed level entranced do not appear, new content cannot be unlocked)

At the end, the ascend button & special areas aren't showing up, despite having the 6 keys. Here's the log.
