I have this idea for another isaac where basically all pedastals cycle between 3 items and you have an equal chance to get any of the items cycling on the pedastal when you pick it up. The thing is, Isaac has a 4 room charge pocket active that allows him to remove one of the items from the pedastal. I dont know if I'm explaining this well so heres an example
Pedastal is cycling between:
Best bud (33%), Infestation (33%), and Psyfly (33%)
*Pocket active now used with infestation showing*
Best bud (50%), Psyfly (50%)
*Pocket used on best bud*
Psyfly (100%)
I hope this makes sense anyway gotta go :)
she will start with five base hearts instead of the normal four, 0.9 speed, lower tear rate based off the fact she wouldn’t feel remorse for what she does, and all else base stats.
She also starts with a new pocket active called “feeding frenzy”, and it can only be charged by taking damage, with a 3 item charge, and when used it makes magdalene gain a temporary my little unicorn effect with the benefit of healing a full heart per kill, and lasting equivalent to how many missing red hearts you have (0.5 seconds per missing half red heart).
To balance this out while still relating to cannibalism, she has two effects, one being a minimal but steady decrease of her damage over time, which is replenished by the pocket active, to show how her diet is affecting her. The second effect is a 33% chance to take a full heart of damage on hit instead of half, to show her bodies frailty after eating human.
Her birthright gives her the effect restless hunger, which could be made in two ways. Either a, it could cause her pocket active to gain a slow passive charge to it, emphasizing her need for flesh. Or b, it could double the effect length of her active item.
