Could you explain your issue in detail? I cannot make any sense of this.

uuuuh, i havent happen to have that problem, but you should press "add other modifications" button in the launcher at the playsets part. Maybe the mod dublicated itself in the launcher, it happens sometimes

I am having the same issue currently, deleting and reinstalling the mod didn't fix it. I restarted steam and my pc and still nothing. It says descriptor file is missing

Can't believe this whole thing is literally because of a single colon... Can you share the contents of this file? I think it is because pdx launcher copied the faulty descriptor there but isn't removing the part that makes it invalid.

Okay, I think I found the correct way to fix this. You have to re-add the mod to you playset in the launcher. PDX launcher forgets about the mod for some reason when a faulty .mod file is detected and thinks that the fixed .mod is referring a whole new mod.

So in my the mods folder in documents have the file ugc_3365265900.mod I can't open it as idk how to open .mod files

I already tried deleting it from my playset and then readding but no dice. I also deleted from my playset, unsubscribed from workshop, relaunched the launcher to check its gone, went back and resubscribed, and then added it back into my playset and it didn't work. :(

It is a text file. Maybe you need to delete that. The thing is I am not sure what's happening.

I lied, i was able to open it through the paradox launcher. The files in it are:
.scripts
common
events
gfx
interface
localisation
copy_english.py
descriptor.mod
thumbnail.png

You were correct, deleting whatever the thing was from the mods folder in the documents and then unsub/resub to the mod fixed it. Maybe the descriptor file/ whatever the thing in the documents folder wasn't deleting whenever I unsubbed from the mod?

Probably that, but still it should update that file when you update the mod. I hate that launcher.

I mean `is_planet_class = pc_alpine ` in `gpm_is_planet_wet_hot = {` is a mistake, as it is neither wet nor hot. BTW: you should use the vanilla trigger is_wet, is_dry and maybe is_cold.

For your future endeavours I recommend using free notepad++.
