The Great War Redux

The Turkish War of Independence / Greko-Turkish War is very unrealistic.
As a Turkish HOI4 player, it annoys me on how unrealistic the Post-War Turkey is. It starts with a full blown civil war. This civil war mechanic annoys me because in reality, this part is not two men picking up guns to fight, its supposed to be two governments trying to establish themselves as the ruling government, without ottoman soilders and kemalist soilders fighting physically. Also, the Greeks literally do nothing for way too long and the Greeks are way too weak while the Turkish side is way too strong. This is highly unrealistic. While the Turks did have the potential power, they had not enough guns, not enough men, just some Kuva-yi Milliye forces, which the Turks then got rid of with many Kuva-yi Milliye officers joining the Greek sides, and a little bit of trained soilders. I wish it could be something like the Greeks invade this city, you get more men, ask for guns and material from the citizens after Eskişehir is lost, make Mustafa Kemal available as general after the Greeks enter Eskişehir etc. I think this would be much more realistic and fun since at the moment, the Greko-Turkish war is just the Turks invading Izmir and no other hardships.
