To avoid crashes, load up Episode 1 first then Minerva
So, I was stuck with a crash that was before getting inside the room where your weapons get vaporized.
In order to avoid this and others crashes, load up EPISODE 1 in the game, then double click MINERVA from the EXTRAS --> WORKSHOP.

That would solve the crashes as it runs flawless with it.
