There's not 1, not 2, not even 3 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brute chieftain encounters, but 4 WHOLE ENCOUNTERS in the base game, which have been carried over to the now "slightly" unbalanced version where you play as a marine. A MARINE, brutes with overly powerful weapons + Tiny squishy man, (Who really should have john 117 backing him up.) Does NOT equal a fun experience. the first 2 are actually not that bad, and are even actually kinda fun to get by. (Hammer brute as well.), The Barracks section (Where you help the marines) Is made near hair ripping difficult due to the brute chieftain (and his lackeys which kill you almost instantly due to their brute plasma rifles), and don't get me started on arming the bomb in the ops center. Because even ON easier difficulties this is still ass clenching levels of hard.
If ONLY the MAIN GUY WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE DEALING WITH THIS WAS HERE.
(in other words PLEASE let Sierra 117 go with the player character to the ops center, down the usual route, allowing for an actually cannon route for 117 to go down. it would make this genuinely so much less painful, and would provide an incentive using your teammates more. like with what halo 3 tried to do with the arbiter. it would also make the fuel rod brute ( and hunters) just that much less ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Hell, Even the stealth route still works. since apparently 117 can just go invis like arbiter.)
Idea is okay, but without any way to heal or visible idea of what my health is, we end up with a Halo 2 one-shot jackal sniper scenario, but possibly worse cause it's the rest of the mission.
Also The Storm is having some flashing light issue that's really starting to hurt my eyes. I don't know if it's meant to be lighting or something, but yah, it hurts.
