Radiance Mod Post-Release Update 1
Hey all, thank you so much for your comments and support since the release of our mod! This mod was originally created as a university project, which means a couple things for how the mod was developed and what we will be doing going forward. We made this as a team of 9 students over the past 10 weeks, and this was the first Terraria mod we've ever made, so we had to make some cuts to make sure that we got it in on time. We also had no idea so many people would be interested in it, so thank you!

For future plans, we do continue on updating this further, however we will be focused on fixing bugs, addressing some other issues within the mod, and polishing the overall experience before starting major updates. We will be discussing our plans for future updates at a later time, once we are happy with the overall polish level.

Please feel free to leave any feedback below as well as any ideas you may have for future content you'd like to see, anything and everything is appreciated!

Known Issues
  • The background cuts off at the bottom and should be raised higher on the screen.
  • The Radiant Lacewing spawns too often and can be hard to notice. We plan on overhauling this entity.
  • Enemies killed in the Underground Radiance do not drop Souls of Light.
  • Upon defeating the Wall of Flesh, the "The Ancient Spirits of Light and Dark have been released" that spawns the Radiance takes a few seconds to occur rather than instantly.
  • Radiant Snow does not naturally convert when spawning The Radiance.
  • Spreading the Radiance through a Clentaminator and Orange Solution often breaks flora.
  • Biome Hair Dye does not work with the Radiance.
  • The Gelatin Crystal does not spawn with Divine Shards, so the Queen Slime cannot be spawned.
