Scenario Updates
I suppose in case people want to be able to follow this thread to get an alert when the scenario is updated, I will try to remember to start posting comments on this thread whenever I push an update to the scenario.

SCRE2 is now available, starting with the updates to RE2 as of Nov 21, 2024, which means Build 24 + the Nov 19 Unity bundle update

My customizations from Reforged Eden 2 (so far):

Reduce galaxy radius from 900LY to 450, star count from 28-30k to 12-13k
HV/SV/CV Drills: Boost harvest speeds ~10x (note: flying, refining, and build costs remain as high as ever)
Chainsaw and hand drills: Boost speeds ~100%
Teleporter: Base Teleporter ranges 25 -> 100, 50 -> 150, 75 -> 180 LY, and CV T2 Telepad works anywhere in same star system
Space PvP: 10% chance in space playfields except starters and combat/mining/exploration sites
Moon PvP: 20% barren, crystal, and toxic moons, 30% chance on Rogue Starter moons
Planet PvP: 20% chance on Barren (not variants), Arid Wasteland, Rogue, 100% chance on Dread starter
SV/HV cargo blocks: 4x normal capacity to help with M/V, to a cap of 1.5x the default container max to help prevent overfilling SVs
New Devices: Advanced CV Pentaxid Tank /w 2x capacity
Increase max CV Prototype Railgun 1 -> 2
CV Drills/Tools: Increase CV Laser Drill Range 100 -> 175, CV Tool Turret Range 140 -> 250
CV Drills: Modul. Ice Harvester Drill and Ineff. Auto. Asteroid Harvester Drill range 200 -> 250
Detector/Radar: Increase discovery chance to 50% for left-click, 100% for right-click
Detector/Radar: Detect otherwise invisible Pentaxid space deposits at 3km
Wireless Connection: Double range for T1 and T2
Hand Weapon Durability: Double durability of most "Epic"/elite hand weapons
CPU: Restore and double NPC Crew CPU bonus (0 -> 5000)
Quantum Cores: Increase max from 2 to 4
Boost RTG energy output 3000 -> 5000W
Disable Tallodar, Omicron, Ningues, Oscutune, Masperon, Purgatory, and Rogue J-5565 starts (way too many choices for small servers)
Reduce recoil of laser minigun
Thermal Regulator: Boost effect 30c -> 50c (great for icy world starts)

- Had to delete the (optional) Logos folder to stay under the 500MB Workshop item size limit
- Not yet sure how the RE2 team was able to get past the 500MB limit but this is still under it for now

- Increase max Small/Large Auxiliary Cores from 4 to 10

Also note that when making ships in SCRE2 which you want to also work in RE2 that you will need to stick to 4 Aux cores and 2 Superior Extenders, rather than our customized maximums here of 10 and 4 respectively.

- Double Data Pad reward to 100UP
- Heavy Railgun Ammo: Require 1/6th as much Magmacite, but require that same amount of Tungsten

- Set CV harvest and ammo controller max size to 640k like Container Controller
- Reduce market price of Pentaxid by ~40%
- Increase range of Quantum Matter Transceiver to justify the Quantum Processor cost
- Increase gold and diamond drop rate from mining Magmacite

- Add Fertilizer+Nitrogen recipes to Universal Constructor
- Double yield of Quantum Processors from POIs/CVs, triple or more yield from combat sites
- Reduce ingredient cost of Heat Exchanger Universal Constructor recipe
- Allow CV mechanical drills work on planets/moons

- Add Heat Exchanger recipe in the Universal Constructor ( 64 Salt, 20 Pallad, 16 Graphite, 16 Copper, 16 Alum Foil, 12 Sath Plate, 12 Water Container, 8 Motor)

- Sync updates from RE2v1.11 Build 27
- Slight increase in magmacite costs for T3 railgun slugs, but still cheaper than RE2 build 27's newly-decreased cost

- Decrease all CV/BA/POI shield penetration over 24% in half (missiles, positrons, disruptors)

- Double damage of MX-4 Torp launcher weapon and allow use in atmosphere, as it required a schematic and did worse damage than the Swarm Missile Launcher which does not require unlock


Update: 28 Jan @ 8:49pm
- Re-add several randomly placed Damaged Hoverbikes to the easier starters (Akua, Roggery, Uai, Sienna)
- Add one Damaged Hoverbike near the spawn for the starters with the Reforged story quests (Akua, Roggery)

This should greatly help speed along early starts.

Walk back shield pen of T2 artillery from 15% to 10%

- Tried fixing a bug in the last line of PDA.yaml in Build 28:
Replace Creator: Ravien & Vermillion with Creator: 'Ravien & Vermillion' (unquoted ampersand)
If you already updated to the previous version on a server, then you have probably lost all mission progress and need to redo em all, sorry!

- Sync updates from RE2v1.12 Build 28
- Apply RE2's latest Shield Penetration changes, except cut anything that was over 10% by half
- Reduce max Superior Extenders back from 4 to 2 (2 is RE2 default)
- Increase max Quantum Extenders from 4 to 6 (4 is RE2 default)

Note that this update removes Progenitor space until reworked and makes the Dyson Sphere System hidden from the galaxy map (until quest activated perhaps) because RE2 also made these changes - this will only affect new games though.

- Sync updates from RE2v1.13 Build 32
- No known compatibility problems with the core game update from v1.12 to v1.13
- After thorough testing, further reduced star count to 7,531 explicitly defined stars, including 1k background and 2k filler, with the remaining 1.5-2.5k being assigned dynamically by the game. Not so sure if the background stars are a good idea as they appear on the map but are not selectable which may be confusing
