Pros
Uncloak spys (Sentries will not attack when uncloaking a spy)
The spy will appear a solid color of the opposing team when shined on
After leaving the cloaked spy leaves the sensor, the solid color will slowly fade away
Haves triple the range of the short circit

Cons
Doesn't work for disguised spys
-20 metal per second
When used, will flash and/or not function after 10 seconds of use (20 second cooldown)
(Optional) Doesn't use ammo from dispencers

really good and it should use dispencer metals
+ repairs sentries from farther away

- Costs twice as much metal each secound and doubles repair time

+ gives your sentry mini crits if its loading on ammo

- Sentry is more vulnerable (marked for death) when being repaired by the gun

- cannot be used on minisentries
+ rescue ranger + Range finder + (another cool invasion hat) equals the Automatic Engi (or lazy engi...) puts calling card on your victims, if valve gives stats back it gives you 50+ metal storage.

- You are also marked for death by doing this

+ spies will become partially visible if in the way of the ray, the ray can be used anywhere but acts like a medigun if a sentry is in range and will heal the sentry.

- can overheat if you use it too much

+ makes you look so cool while you're doing it.

- Spies will be jelous of your Godly Server Clearing weapon!

Maybe the Range Finder could be used as a why to target enemys.

Mouse1: will target the enemys for your sentry to shoot at.

Reload: will put that command into play.

Mouse2: will detarget enemys

This would be great in Mvm because you can target bots and have your sentry shoot the robots and medics, instead of the sentry buster or the big robots.

It won't be able to target enemy spies when they are disguised or cloaked, and it will outline enemys that are not ubered green and ubered red. Only you can see the outline and you can't see the outline through walls only when the enemy is in plain sight.

These stats would never be implimented, no weapon is that good or bad.

These are the best stats i saw, except for the last part, instead, it should scan your allies by right clicking ALLIES and tell you if they're dusigiused or not, for 100 metal.
pros:
-Extend your sentry range(scans in a larger area than the sentry)
-replaces shotgun(primary weapon)leaving the engi defendles
cons:
-you are defendles without your sentry
-sentries cost 200 to build
-every building takes 250(more metal than you can carry) metal to build
(this weapon with my stats + shot circuit + southern hospitality would be a good defend engineer set)

Heres the thing this is just terrible i mean its the wrangler made worst and deciding to make a sentry cost 200 metal puts 1 weapon out the way, the gunslinger and you know what why use a weapon that lets you build just a sentry? You said 200 metal for sentry sand 250 for allothers buildings to build making its useless already and lastly you said this will work great with the short circuit and southern hospitality. when you make stats for weapons it cant be a weapon that works to the best with a forced loadout i mean how would you feel if to use the babyfaceblaster you had to equip the wrap assasin or to use gloves of running urgency you had to eat buffalo steak sandwich. When you make a weapon you have to make it work with all loadouts not be useful if you use this loadout and really. 1 upside to 3 downsides honestly. So why dont you tell me... why would i use something that scans a larger area but costs more to make it and makes you have less defence when you could equip the wrangler which makes it so you have infinet range and its shoots faster and has a shield.

Alot of people prasie this idea alot i see but want to know what does this and makes your sentry better? The wrangler which lets you take control, your sentry shoots faster and gets a shield

Limits the angle of your sentries firing range to maybe about 120~ degrees, but within that angle has slightly increased firing speed or damage, maybe some damage resistance, but it takes more damage when hit outside of that angle; sentry model should change in some way to clearly indicate where these areas are.

Edit: Can use range finder to change where this angle is directed at.

Maybe drain other players ammo for your own?
Target on loses twice as much ammo per shot.
Engie cannot use it when more than 100 scrap already held.
I think someone can balance it better.

Mark target for death while a target is being focused on.
Cannot draw metal from dispenser while active.
Uses 30 metal per second.
Increased damage vulnerability for wielder while equipped.
