Uh, what?
Actually, the importer (what makes an item certified compatible) does not support styles. However, the creators of the item could upload an alternate version of the model and let Valve choose, which version gets used.
So basically there are no community-made hats with styles? Or does Valve just edit the model to make the new styles?
Styles used to be supported and old communty items had them, but after the importer was implemented (what makes items 'Certified Compatible') they are no longer supported, so no post-importer cosmetics that have been accpeted have styles.
After the importer, people have tried to upload styles as seprate contributions to the workshop, but Valve has never done anything with these alternate versions.
I don't think lots of votes will help get this item accepted with styles ( its a really nice item though, so I think it will get accepted, just without styles). The only way to have styles is to upload without the importer and Valve hasn't accepted any cosmetics that aren't Certified Compatible (using the importer is what makes items Certified Compatible), since they released the importer.
(This may all be a non-issue though, becuase the creators may not even be interested in making a version that has the goggles being worn.)
