mmdanggg2, I've got an important question for you.
@mmdanggg2, I was wondering if you would make me an avatar using my Minecraft skin so I may use it on my youtube channel. If you want, for payment, I can put your youtube channel on my featured list. It's the best I can do right now.

I'm not trying to come off as rude, but why should he spend his time making an avatar just for you? These things aren't easy to make, there's a lot of modeling and coding for the model so that it works in the program. So putting his channel on your channel's featured list isn't really worth it for him.

Well he's already done it and it took him a few minutes to do it. Right now, I don't think you can pay for avatars. I think it's against the eula. But putting his channel on my featured list, could get his channel advertisement, which means help him make money. So yes, it could be worth it. Just a few minutes of his time, for a boost of his youtube channel that could get him some more money from any monetized videos.
This stuff takes longer than a few minutes to make.

Nope, it really didn't. It's just a case of changing the texture.

Not that I have ANY experience whats-so-ever, I figure quick customization could be implemented so long as you can create a dds file from your minecraft skin (it is after all, just a picture, right?).
I found this nifty set of data files in SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\FaceRig\Mod\VP\pc_datacache\facerig\dx9_target_dx9\objects\avatarsteve

I have no idea if I'm on the right track though...

That folder is part of the datacache and gets overwritten every time the source model gets recompiled, and also there are different folders for dx9 and dx11. We do not recommend manually editing anything inside data-cache (except deleting them when you want to force a re-compile)

If you want to alter the file you need to alter the tga source files found in a similar folder in SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\FaceRig\Mod\VP\PC_CustomData\Objects\avatarsteve\ ( bonus: tga files are easier to edit in many more editors than dds files)

however if you update it from the workshop again , the edited tga's will probably get overwritten again with the originals, so make sure you don;t have auto-sync with the workshop version enabled, and you have your original edits in a different folder as a back-up :D.

Do you think You Could Make It With My Skin On, I Would Give All Credit To You, And Put You On My Featured Channels Tab? Thanks

How do I get to the textures so I can change them to look like my skin? When I first looked at this avatar I really wanted to see if I could make it look like my skin. I found the folder with the addon in it once, but I didn't find the textures. And now I can't find the addon folder. Can you please help?

Hey Mr. Dev. Why Not Just Make A Customize Option?

So You Dont Have To Work On Peoples Own Skins.
