Why do people submit knives?
Why do people submit knives? They are never going to be accepted, they are nothing but a waste of time to make. Sure they are cool and i mean no disrespect, but why do people still submit them if they are never going to be accepted?

No, there isnt, valve have already said they are not adding them, Why do you think the knives are not on the weapon list for skin submissions?

honestly I feel you but there's no harm in making them and I guess hoping that valve will add it or maybe take inspiration from it

Knives being rare (which a lot of them are not...) has nothing to do with workshop submission

because, as an artist they might find people who share interests with them, also it is always a good portfolio material.

Fair enough, i didnt think of that, It would be good for a portfolio definately, although if you want to find people who share interests, why not just check out a 3d model/texture forum?
