LWOTC Compatibility Changes
This thread lists all the changes to Allies Unknown's feature that only take effect if you have LWOTC active.

WARNING: All AU Redux modules should work fine for LWOTC campaigns, save for the Vipers module. That module overhauls a lot of how vipers work so I can't promise it'll play nice with LWOTC.

List of Changes
  • Aliens get their stats updated to match the new LWOTC baseline. This mod fetches the aliens' stats (at Commander difficulty) from config and compares them to that of an un-modded soldier. The resulting deltas for each stat get applied directly to the new basestats for the default soldier.
  • Alien soldiers get the full NCE stat generation; If you have that option checked on, of course.
  • Recruit Cost is lowered to 30% of the default value. This still leaves aliens more expensive than humans (the correct conversion would be 25%) but they're generally stronger so I think that's fine.
  • Recruiting Aliens in LWOTC costs supplies AND one of your available human recruits. Due to the changes to the acquiring recruits mechanics, you can't directly buy alien recruits to your heart's content. Instead, each alien recruited results in one of your human recruits no longer being available. Essentially, you are "trading" your recruits with the Alien Resistance.
  • Rookies gained as rewards have a chance of being Alien instead. Due to the plenty of different ways to gain rookies in LWOTC, such as the break out mission, there's a chance that the rookies obtained during gameplay won't be all human. This can be disabled through config, and the percentage chance of getting aliens is also configurable (default is 15%).
  • The Gray Market's Intel-side is closed, so all purchases are made with supplies. To be more specific, the Supplies-side is closed and the Intel-side has been converted to charging supplies. Confusing, but that's just how the backend shakes out. As of the latest update the labels now reflect their actual functionalities (or lack thereof).
  • Gray Market's soldiers have the same pricing as those from the Black Market. First this cuts their price down according to LWOTC's configs (default is 40%), then the price scales with FL using the same calculations that LWOTC uses.
  • "Universal" Changes apply to the Aliens. Some general changes made by LWOTC apply to the Aliens just as it does for regular soldiers. They get access to the new default soldier abilities Get Up! and Stock Strike, and are capable of being kidnapped by the Chosen.
  • The Resuce Alien Resistance Operative Covert Action now spawns an Infiltration Mission. Like every other CA in LWOTC that spawns a mission, it will require Infiltration Time and will expire as per usual. However, the regional Strenght has no impact on the mission what-so-ever. The Alert Level (the "difficulty") of the mission is determined solely by your game difficulty. These changes apply to this CA, as well as to any other CAs that spawn missions from species modules--such as the dragons' rescue mission.
  • Changes to the logic of a couple of Covert Actions. The Recruit Non-Human Soldier CA will no longer spawn before you meet the required influence level and the Additional Card Slots CA won't spawn if you don't have the second wave option of Resistance Cards enabled. A side-effect of the latter is that you'll never reach the required influence level for the Recruit Non-Human Soldier CA to spawn, but I think that's actually for the best.
