Rain World

Rain Meadow
Meadow Safari/a survival exploration mode.
This is going to be a little similar to FishStrats suggestion but not anywhere near as complex. Basically it's an exploration mode but allowing for danger. Players don't hurt each other by default (friendly fire could be a toggle if wanted but I see it as being a nuisance for this mode) but all the typical predators and prey spawn and THEY can hurt you.
If you die you either spectate as an Overseer or just respawn from the nearist den and/or shelter.

Unlike the official safari mode you can use gates like how Meadow works and while you may be limited to the playable species of Meadow you do get a lot more freedom with those creatures because meadow's controls are just better then safari mode even if lantern mice players don't hang. Plus safari mode limits your wandering.

Tieing in the storylines is definitely too much here but I would love a safari meadow hybrid mode where you can use the gates and worry about predators but with a friend or two by your side.

I kind of feel like regular meadow is a little eirrily lifeless if you don't have a lot of players. So even if we scratch the danger I would still like to see a varient where you can see NPC wandering creatures so the regions look like how they naturally do.

Hello, I approve of this mode. Meadow mode but with NPCs (Non-Player Creatures) works. It could even just be an option for Meadow Mode Lobbies. If they should be able to kill you or not I don't know, I don't think the developers would want to add danger especially with no items to Meadow Mode in any way though, so it is likely every creatures relation ship status or whatever it was called would be set to where they practically ignore you.

Having them just exist as background would be fine too. Especially if it's added as a toggleable option to add to the current meadow rather then an entire other mode like arena and story.
It'd be really funny to chill with a vulture who stopped by to stare at the batflies. (Something I noticed they do, do. Apparently batflies are fun to watch from vulture point of veiw)

That is interesting that they watch batflies. And yes, them just not having a hit box to interact with you could work.
