[Suggestion] Dead players don't need to be in gates to progress to the next region
As it is in the story mode all players even dead ones need to be at the gates in order to progress in the game. Which means if someone dies it essentially softlocks you since you can't progress to the next region, and it's not even possible or feasible to drag their corpse to the gate either.
Please make it so that dead players will not be needed to be in gates to progress to the next region.

There is the option to implement some sort of revive mod.

That's good but it doesn't seem to solve the issue since if other people don't have that mod, or worse, if you die in a way that that isn't possible (ways that delete your slugcat (i.e. falling in a pit).
Even if Revival mods become standard, it would still be better to exclude dead players from the gate requirement, either kicking them from the campaign or having them respawn at the next shelter in the new region.

I suppose having them dead until someone get's say "points" to revive them. Like things they have to collect in order for them to be able to respawn; maybe that could work?
a true soft lock is when the host dies cause the host can't respawn i am pretty sure
