Bug Reports
Please let me know if you experience any bugs. I've tested almost everything in this mod, but there will invariably be weird interactions and things that slip through the cracks in a game as large as Stellaris. Thanks so much!

Hey, the new Authorities don't show up
ShadowEater25 28 Dec, 2024 @ 1:55pm
And I tried this with zero other mods so i know its this mod

@ShadowEater25 Thanks for testing with only this mod, however, that is the intended effect. The alternate authorities are available after either psionic or genetic ascension after which an event chain will begin that will determine how your authority shifts and thus what benefits it provides.
Don't know if this is a bug or not but i can't get the assimilation engine to work with or without other mods installed, it doesn't seem to be counting the assimilations.

The description of the civics "CyberReality" and "Cybergladiators" are missing words.

@Trap of Charlemagne Interesting, I'll look into that. It seemed to be working fine when I tested it but I can check again.

@Choupinet Fixed now, thanks!
Getting lots of CTD's with events when I click on the camera that immediately takes me to the place where whatever event is happening. Plenty of events like this. Could be compatibility error.

None of the civics provide any modifier effects after taking their appropriate ascensions as they are all incorrectly using a "hidden_modifier" block, which is not a thing which exists. Providing a description already hides the modifiers, which should just be in a "modifier" block.

The error log contains dozens of lines such as:
[03:41:57][persistent.cpp:46]: Error: "Unexpected token: hidden_modifier, near line: 101
" in file: "common/governments/civics/ac_cybernetic_civics.txt" near line: 104

@Proud Lemming I’ll look into it

@TTFTCUTS I was aware of this but didn’t realize the modifier effects had also disappeared- will fix soon. However unfortunately the description doesn’t seem to cover up such modifiers, so if you know a workaround for that, that would be great. Thanks for bringing this to my attention regardless.

I wonder, then, if it's the inclusion of a negative_description too that covers it up in vanilla civics, as their descriptions seem to include modifier text in them - regardless it appears there's a hide_modifiers = yes/no listed in 00_civics.txt in the example information.
Democratic hyperequality isn't giving unity when assimilating pops either. I think the post assimilation effects aren't applying.

@TTFTCUTS Missed the hide_modifiers flag. Thanks!

@Trap of Charlemagne Ok interesting, I know that one was also working properly when last tested so I'll look into it and see what may be the problem. This is without other mods right?
