Got a crash, SharpDX error for the spool on the MCRN PDC

Does the windup sound crash the game or the shooting sound? Also, can you provide a log file of game crash?

Is there any specific case when PDCs cause the game crash? I can't replicate it (placed 200 MCRN PDCs, spammed the fire sounds in all possible ways, checked in both realistic and arcade modes)

I think I found the issue - all SE sounds must be 44100hz, mono, 32 bit or they have a chance to crash the game

Yup it’s probably that, I got the crash any time I went near my base when things were firing, and the way I was able to guarantee it was the MCRN PDC, because I had a ship that only had them, and the moment I spawned it near an enemy I got the sharpDX spool down error


Was talking with BDCarillo in the Aryx server and he just said some weapon is using a format that Keen hates because sharpDX is dumb
Which, if you are in the aryx server, I did send the log there, under the handle .simulacra

Turreted Railguns stuck in the charging phase
it doesn't fire until after i delete the ship it was targeting.

Spawned in my own railship and it works just fine. Perhaps you had too low power output because railguns are pretty hungry

weird, the railgun was loaded and everything and was stuck on charging phase when aiming at the enemy
Maybe i will just make a new world and try again
