Found a purpose to the crystals
If you have the 2 from the small crystal planet, (A blue and purple one. They take some time to find in their piles.) take them to the acid like planet with the glowing light. Do the same for the vort planet. Kill them first, then take it. Take them over there to that planet and place them in the white orb-is light with a physgun.
trust me, just found this out in under 15 minutes.

just use your physgun and just aim for a small purple and blue one. Hope this helps.

The wormhole takes you to different places depending on the order that you put in the crystals,
orange=1
purple=2
blue=3
123: desert
132: the moon
213: vort
231: the lava planet
312: vort
321: desert
Its not always accurate but it is most of the time.

lolno, it picks one of those 4 destinations completely at random.
