[SOLVED - Bug] Screen will locked when Mavic is destroyed by "setdamage 1" while controlling
Please help with reproducibility! More information is needed!

This bug has been reported by several people, so I need more information from people who are experiencing it.

Also, if you're a modder and think you can fix this, please send me the actual commit/pull request on GitHub.



To reproduce I used those:

Test Environment:
- Dedicated server (own, local network)
- Single Player (in editor)
- Multiplayer Host (in editor)

Mission used:
- A mission where I just placed one player in the editor.
- Nothing particularly complicated.

Mod list:
- CBA_A3
- Mavic 3 - Improved

Execution steps
1. Taking Mavic3T and UAV Controller from VA
2. Open Inventory, Put mavic on ground.
3. Connect to mavic and take Control from action menu.
4. (getConnectedUAV player) setDamage 1;

From my testing it seemed to happen more commonly when I hit the drone as slow as possible while still damaging it, the blades would break and make a winding down noise and every part would be red except the turret / cam and the battery would start draining. Sometimes I could stil scroll in this state and select release controls but other times I could not.

I managed to reproduce it a few times but inconsistently by lowering to the ground with autohover and moving around as I did with the controls and mouse, I also managed to reproduce it by flying straight up into a obstacle while doing essentially the same, it seemed to happen more commonly at low speeds.

Yep, I finally managed to reproduce it.
But it's pretty rare.
I'm not really sure what causes this.
I'll try to come up with some workarounds.
