If you find IDs on zombies, you can try to get the account balance using the computer. Your ID is not useful in itself for using this mod.

Also, if you open the computer at the prompt, you can see your version of the mod. The latest version is 'PZLinux version v.0.1.7-rc1'. This way, you can check if you have the latest version on your setup.
Sometimes, Steam doesn't update mods correctly. You need to perform a complete file check of the game for the update to take effect.

Future versions shouldn't disrupt this functionality, at least not immediately. For now, update v0.1.8 will offer more items in the DW and introduce a new contract system in the form of quests that will provide rewards and influence company stock values.
I'm also learning how to make mods for zomboid. I have some ideas and I'm trying to get back into programming a bit.
