CRITIQUES
Here if you have an issue with my mod that can affect a lot of people give any constructive criticism to me and I’ll see what we can work out to better the mod.

This mod is one of my favorites. The beginning is incredible, seeing things from the beta and HLA makes it look incredible, but it also has some problems. First, the cremator feels very easy to kill, even on hard, it feels very easy.

I feel like if the cremator had too much HP he’d be a slow, walking tank of an enemy, though I’ll see if having them have medium amounts of HP can work

about the cremator the model is kinda janky and when you kill it its gun flys? idk but its kinda outdated not rushing at all just saying cuz idk if players will like that

I get that, though sadly right now since the gun is inside the cremator model theres nothing much I can do. Though I’ll see if theres any workarounds I can do though 👍
why is a combine worker trying to attack me in the area outside the part where you meet Matt?
isn't he just a regular citizen

I feel like the strider and walls of fire at the part where you storm the barricade in Anticitizen one are a bit much, especially the strider because you have no real way of taking it down and it just stands there awkwardly if you get past it. I also feel like the cremators burning people alive when they have a machine gun nearby in the canals is strange, partly because the people are still trying to beg while they are already on fire.

-The strider is just a bug from the original mod that map was came from, so I’ll fix it later if and when I can (though if I can’t that’ll unfortunately mean I’ll have to outright remove the strider)

-The cremator burning the citizens even though theres a machine gun next to those citizens can be explained with some metrocops just being that cruel to the point where they’d rather have them burn alive for a bit before being quickly killed.

-With them still begging after being burnt alive right now I guess that could just be them being in a state of shock? Though now that I do think thats strange I’ll see if theres anything I can do to fix it.

Though thanks for reporting these, after all immersion is one of the top priorities in this mod :steamthumbsup:

Matt seems to be a combine worker helping to keep the underground railroad unnoticed by the combine, though the other workers unknowing of this attacked freeman out of fear seeing the weapons on him.
Also I was going to have a voiceline making the workers sound surprised of freeman, and overwatch warning the workers of freeman though I didn’t have the time yet. Still though thanks for reporting this!

hydras in the concrete bricks puzzle thingy are a little scuffed, just curl up and immediately revert back to normal after being shot as well as not really attacking much. Also the cremators early on feel very weird to fight against, as they will just stand and let themselves be attacked but apart from that the mod is pretty good so far appreciate all the effort considering its a fan made mod

With the hydras in the puzzle room having a janky animation there wasn’t much I could do sadly
As for the cremator in the first map of Route Kanal, I’ll plan to remove that one entirely as to not make the cremator’s appearance too saturated

I feel like it might be a bit too much stuff added. like in d1_trainstation_02 theres 4 metrocops and a cremator just to subdue 2 citizens. thats where i am currently but i hope theres less stuff later in the add-on
