Could make it give a +1.0 damage (to damage formula, not flat like Bozo's 0.10)
Cricket's Head does give a small amount of damage with extra copies, so you're still getting some benefit and it's some proper parity between the two
But adding proper non-flat damage ups is difficult with mods, I think other mods like Fiend Folio have a way of trying to fake the damage formula but it requires having to manually account for every damage multiplier in the game
(exactly like I mentioned in the other comment above, just putting it here for the sake of it)
Edit: I just looked at the wiki and Pentagram's deal chance bonus already stacks with itself, granting 15% instead of 10%. My bad
Bogo Bombs only affects bombs, obviously, but if you have Bogo Bombs and Humbling Bundle then Double Bombs will become Bomb Bundles and give 3 bombs.
This is based on an old mod which adds stacking for Humbling Bundle, but unlike that mod you don't need to make a bunch of sprites for each amount of pickup piles or make new types of pickups; you'd just need to swap the sprite of double pickups with code and check if the player picks them up
Also, if the player suddenly loses its copies of Humbling Bundle/Bogo Bombs, the Pickup Bundles should immediately revert to their Doubled state
should also make it work with Box of Friends, odd that this is one of the only familiars that DOESN'T stack, which goes against player expectations
Oh yeah, and should make it account for Eve's Birthright, too
The Empress card stacks with itself, why doesn't this?
Could be adjusted for how many copies you need to reach the maximum with diminishing returns, because this is really strong for 2 lucky plays of Crooked Penny. But maybe players would like that?
It could either stack by adding an additional lost soul to protect, or more cool, it could give lost soul 1 free hit for each copy, making it easier to protect.
Blue Map: 20% Chance to double pickups in secret rooms. Chance increases with more stacks.
Aquarius: +25% creep size per stack.
Fire Mind: Bigger fires/more fires when tears explode?
Scatter Bombs: Even MORE tiny bombs (+2 little bombs per stack)
Purgatory: More cracks in the ground spawn.
Ipecac: Increases damage by +20 per additional copy ;
Magneto: Increases the range of opening chests by 1 tile, increases pull force by 25%;
Eye Drops: Its multiplier stacks;
Charm of The Vampire: Reduces kills needed to heal by 1 (caps at 1 kill per heal);
Money = Power: Increases the damage increase from coins by +25% per copy;
Mr. Mega (Doesn't scale infinitely): Increases bomb damage multiplier to x2.5;
Odd Mushroom (Small) (Doesn't scale indefineatly): Removes the -0.7 damage and the x0.9 damage multiplier;
Guppy's Tail (Doesn't stack indefineatly): Increases the chance for a chest on room clear to 50%;
Ghost Pepper/Bird's Eye: Flame size and damage +25%;
Polyphemus: +2 damage and linear x1.5 multiplier per copy (up to 3 copies);
1st copy: negates the negative effects of items completely (not just prevent your stats from going down)
2nd copy: makes the negative effects of items be positive effects
