How to keep a large army fed?
I have an army size of up to ~320 currently. Its great because I can usually go toe to toe with any other lords or group of lords without fear... but its impossible to keep them fed.

As it stands, filling my entire inventory with food will only provide about 8 days of food for this large of an army. (Lucky AI bastards and their ability to not have to feed their armies of 450+) This makes it a bit rough to do things currently...

- Sieging a town / castle requires me to pretty much build ladders and blitz them. If I try to strategically starve out the enemy it all comes down to whether or not I get a load of food from raiding the farms... if I don't then its pretty much the end of the siege.

- Balancing morale and inventory becomes an issue. If I keep a variety of food to give the best morale bonuses then I have pretty much no inventory space at all since every "meal time" each of the food varieties gets eaten partially. If I say "♥♥♥♥ variety!" and just load up on one thing with a large quantity then I have a much easier time with the inventory but my morale tanks due to the large army and lack of variety.

- Managing my inventory and trading becomes a chore. I have virtually no space to keep loot and even having a wagon isn't overly helpful. Having a wagon does grant me extra space, but then I'm left either having to constantly swap items (3 to 6 at a time) into my actual inventory to sell them, which requires me to leave the town, go to camp menu, and manage the wagon... or to send off the wagon to trade with a town... which can lead to them getting lost somewhere, getting slaugthered, or just bugging out which tends to happen about 50% of the time for me.

Is there any good advice or methods here to feed such a large army without either going completely insane or having to do constant tedious micromanagement?

For instance, is there any way to my men to eat food straight out of the supply wagon?

Or a way to stock food in my "camp" instead of my actual inventory?

Or even a way to get an alternate mass quanity food? I know a lot of mods I had played included "siege rations" or "hardtack" which was generally anywhere from 200 to 500 quanity per food stack and gave little or no morale bonuses.

Any advice regarding food from anyone else out there that rolls around in a large horde?

Note - Cutting down the size of my army isn't really an option currently. I've butchered my way into owning my own kingdom, but my pagan ways have me stuck at war against many foes currently. There are no lords in my kingdom currently... its just me. So I have to be roll with a large horde at all times to keep myself and my lands safe from the near constant hordes attempting to siege it.

I appreciate the reply. From a developer no less.

Thanks for your work on the mod. It's been great. Like Mount & Blade itself it is of course not without some flaws, but it delivers a hell of a lot of fun.
