Brytenwalda Repolished 1.05

A few questions
Interestingly enough, I just downloaded Brytenwalda 1.41 yesterday from moddb.com... and now I see this! I haven't installed 1.41 yet and am seriously considering trying this out first, but I have a few questions.

Do we need Brytenwalda 1.41 installed to run 1.01? Does this include the alt female faces add-on but with a fix to the floating-heads-from-side-view issue? Does this (or the 1.41) still allow a coop invite to another player for battle cuts? Finally, will you make this available to download on moddb.com or other sites, as well? I never seem to have much luck getting mods to work from Steam :(

Thanks, and I apologise if these were touched upon in the Descriptions tab!

Hi friend! Thank you for your interest. Yes, this mod is on Moddb and The Nexus too. I share your pain with the workshop , because atm is not very user friendly. Now to the topic on hand. This is a SINGLE PLAYER modification, for people to join you they would theoretically need to have the same mod installed, but that falls out of my range of expertise. Included mods/addons are in the description. Yes, you need original Brytenwalda 1.41 since this is a "patch" of sorts,it doesnt include the female faces with fix. I also urge to try Brytenwalda regardless of this mod, it is an awesome mod made with love, very rough in the edges so to speak but the love is there and it drastically changes the Warband experience. It is a trip best taken slowly.

Thank you for answering my questions! I spent practically all day playing Brytenwalda 1.41, it is awesome :D

I'm looking forward to trying out your polished work, especially if it addresses the bad dialogue grammar and NPCs calling me 'Sir' ;)

Getting it from Nexus now... couldn't get it to work off Workshop, so hopefully it will this way...

Thanks for your support. The Bad grammar still exists, but baby steps, so just fixed the merchant for now. Just wondering if people would be interested in this small mod, and if it is like that I can try to keep updating it. Cheers!

I don't know how anyone else did it, but me and some I know did this, the easiest way:

Downloaded and installed Brytenwalda Repolished 1.01 Standalone here http://www.nexusmods.com/mbwarband/mods/5951/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fmbwarband%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D5951&pUp=1 (the second one). You don't need to mess with Brytenwalda 1.41 at all going it this way.

Hope this helps!

I've verified it as well with the Mystic Merchant who is showing the changes Brujuloco did :)

Thanks again to him for all the hard work! Going to go back and play some more :-D

This looks awesome, I was pretty excited about it, Brytenwalda is my favorite mod. Unfortunately I keep getting the error "unable to open file: Modules/Brytenwalda Repolished 1.01 by Brujoloco/Resource/Textures_face_gen.brf" If you anyone let me know how to fix that I'd really appreciate not having to completely wipe and reinstall Brytenwalda

Quick question, why can't you make this an idependent module instead of having to download the original Brytenwalda? Probaly the file size, but I'm still asking.
Brujoloco  [developer] 21 Nov, 2014 @ 2:36pm
It´s not the file size, its already in a standalone independent module in the nexus. A simple 1 gig big Brytenwalda easy to use. Problem is, the way the Steam Workshop works, it can´t be uploaded as the original brytenwalda has several extensions not recognized by the warband uploader. To be precise, the warband uploader doesnt recognize gifs, tga´s, jpg´s and it doesnt recognize either .zip´s, rar´s and 7zip´s . There is no way for me to upload it atm. Please bear in mind the workshop is not very friendly, implemented as a low development feature of steam and atm still very new. It will hopefully improve. If you want the full client, all you need to do is register at the nexus, which is free, and the only hassle is registration and download the full standalone version there http://www.nexusmods.com/mbwarband/mods/5951/?

I just tried to unzip this into my modules folder and receieved a lengthy break operation debug error. Question, Do I need the Original Brytenwalda installed FIRST or do I JUST download the repolished Full?
Baby Cakes 26 Nov, 2014 @ 5:35am
Reason for my seemingly redundant question is this
"Yes, you need original Brytenwalda 1.41 since this is a "patch" of sorts,it doesnt include the female faces with fix."
Then- - -
- "Downloaded and installed Brytenwalda Repolished 1.01 Standalone here http://www.nexusmods.com/mbwarband/mods/5951/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fmbwarband%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D5951&pUp=1 (the second one). You don't need to mess with Brytenwalda 1.41 at all going it this way.

If you happen to be unable to extract the zip, it´s a LZMA compressed zip, meaning you need a different software, like 7zip to uncompress. This has been done this way to save space. you can download 7zip here

Whats the differnce of 1.41 and 1.05? Also what faction has the best infantry?
Brujoloco  [developer] 21 Feb, 2015 @ 5:38pm
1.41 is regular Brytenwalda whereasd 1.05 and further is the Brytenwalda Repolished Mod, hence the "repolished" title.
Is it possible to customise what race and religion your character is and not have to use the prebuilt ones?
