There must be an option to Uncap even without any tools if you call context menu on a proper barrel.
If you already add gas (i havent tried another fluid), it wont allow me to fill it anymore
Could be a conflict with Common Sense? but i have no idea. The recent update made the Common Sense bugged, which is you cant drink from any sources of water in anyway.
Is there any context options to fill from/into barrel? Also check that you have a Funnel if you enabled this option or Rubber Hose. That should be enough. I'm using Common Sense too and for me barrel runs smoothly. In general, any mod that modifies context menu for FluidContainers may affect workability

I've put it at the bottom of the boot order still no dice.
"Add" option can be red by one of two conditions:
1. You dont have any proper containers in inventory that can pour fluid to barrel. This relies on zomboid internal functionality for fluid mixing.
2. A funnel is missing in your inventory or somwhere near the barrel.
ive got the same problem as him and its redded out even when i got a hose a funnel and a gas canister.
if i go to transfer fluids and drag the gas canister in manually it tells me: "cannot pour into target container"
Maybe try pick up and then place this barrel. it may be locked because of unfinished or interrupted process of pick up I suppose. Or unlocking not working while placing. I will take a look
So if i open a barrel I can add liquid, but if i pick up the barrel and place it somewhere else, i can no longer add liquid. Any ideas for a workaround? As it is any barrels i bring to my base I can't use.
