Bug Reports / Known Issues
Report any issues with the map that you find here. Maybe I will be able to fix them!

Known Issues
These are all bugs with TU that the developers would need to fix, as far as I know. I haven't been able to find a workaround for any of them.
  • Special Items (right click abilities) try to place themselves around hidden/no-collide items, so sometimes you might try to place one in a seemingly empty space and it'll spawn in the air or upside down
  • Zombies sometimes glue themselves to your tombstone when you die and it's incredibly annoying
  • The Scientist class's explosive flasks randomly do not damage zombies in the water
  • Ghosts' projectiles phase through surfaces
  • The Queen's spider webs phase through surfaces
  • Custom enemies may not be automatically killed after clearing zombies in Day 6 since the Helicopter Landing's IO events do not work
  • Fire effects on killed zombies cause the game to lag a lot in this map especially (this was improved a bit in update 0.18.9.0)

  1. The center of the town is surrounded by invisible walls. The only way in or out is through the cave. I'm guessing maybe they're for the boss fight but they're spawning before they're supposed to?
  2. Enemies get stuck in the cave a lot, especially in the boarded up pit.
  3. The gas is backwards. If I don't have gas, the generators are instant and it says I used gas. If I do have gas, the generators take time.
  4. I found some safe spots where nothing but ghosts can hit you. I made an imgur gallery of them for you: https://imgur.com/a/Z0CQ504

Thanks for letting me know about this! These are all kinda weird issues that I'm not sure how to solve, but I released an update that might help.

I think 1, 2, and 4 are all the same issue. Basically there's a bunch of Blocking Volumes in the map, some of which players can walk through but zombies can't (especially in the cave). They're supposed to only be active on Day 6 or if certain events happen, but there's a bug with TU where they sometimes stay active anyway. I had a workaround for this, but someone else had the same issue a few weeks ago and I'm not really sure why it would be inconsistent now.

I also don't really know why the gas would be reversed like that. I changed how it works recently but I tested it pretty extensively, made sure it worked properly, and never touched it again after that. I think there might've been an IO module that didn't fire at the start of the match for whatever reason, so I just forced it to fire again later.
Thank you, everything I noticed seems fixed now, even some things I didn't realize were broken in the first place. The framerate is way better now too. I assume a TU update broke most of the I/O and updating the map fixed it for some reason. :conwayshrug:
