Improved Polyweld Tool bugs
This discussion is about the crashing bug of the Improved Polyweld Tool by DMG | Bobblehead. I was nearing completion of my WWII submarine. I decided to make some final touches with this tool. An other bug is one of the causes of this. That bug is when the color gets reset, even if you don't weld. You cannot change it back. I tried about 3 times to make it the color I wanted it to be. My game then crashes. Please fix this as soon as you can, Bobble.

I just fixed the bug which made the colors reset every time you switched weapons. I am having trouble preserving the original color of the objects, though. You might try using a material instead until I figure that out.

When placing hoverballs on welded items, they dont stay in the prop, and start moving around. I think its gonna happen with other objects as well, but i didnt test them

If it doesn't attach to the prop, try placing them before creating the polyweld.

I have a problem that makes the props extend in size, but the extension remains invisable. It's quite frustrating when making things.

Thank you for fixing the bug, Bobble.

I don't know if my props are enlarging... but whenever I use the polyweld it always gives me really messed up collisions, steping near my prop on certain sides causes me to go flying away and take damage. And I also occasionally slide around on my prop and can't jump. I still really love the tool though. Think of it... a vehicle that doesn't spaz to death... oh if only those collisions could work...

Ok I think I figured it out. The prop isn't expanding, it's creating TWO physics meshes. One that follows your new prop and one that stays in the place where you originally polywelded the props. That's why when I walk near the prop it throws me away, there are two physics meshes so it's like there are two props stuck inside each other. Well now with that out of the way I can just make the weld up in the sky so it doesn't bug me. Finally I can properly build with this tool!

You can weld a player to a prop.
1. Stand realy close to a prop (or between 2 props)
2. Select both props (or one idk) while holding E.
3. Right click.
4. UNDO. such bugs.

I've tested on bots. I can do it with them. realy. This is a real exploit. You can literaly delete players with this addon.

I will look into that bug. Thank you for the report.

I have updated the tool to prevent that from happening.

The original props become invisible and can't be interacted with but they still have collisions (only with players); this leads to invisible walls or invisible objects of pain and death.

I can't even change the material, even after deselecting.

Im sorry about your loss, I suck at building but i know how hard it must have been to make vehicles, even if they didn't work.

Sometimes when I go to grab the prop it won't let me grab it. Like the prop just basically stays there as my physbeam is hovering over the prop.
