Maybe instead of a back stab, he gets a large health, speed, and damage bonus and the damage bonus would be +30 percent to his revolver and this would last about 7 seconds
So the stats would be this:
+30% holstering speed

-Back stabs only do 170 damage

-On successful backstab, spy gains the following buffs

+45% Revolver damage

+35% speed

+70 max health

+20% revolver firing speed

(This effect lasts about 7 seconds)

That's a horrible concept, Spy is a pretty weak class. what I'm suggesting with this is gun spy
+the last person who killed you can be backstabbed from any angle
-damage removes disguise
sure why not
but that could be abused with a low respawn time
I don't think weapon balancing should consider low respawn timers.
ok, yeah but still the stats from Sir Dapper are bad. I accept mine aren't perfect, but still

Interesting design but ultimately it would be a massive downgrade to stock Knife as one of Engie's counters would be difficult to kill him and sap his buildings. Spy is already a low health class and I don't see these stats benefitting him that much. I dunno.

Yeah, gonna be honest, I forgot about the engie part so I'll remove that second con cause I can see how spy would struggle in those situations.
Also, these were the only things I could think of that would fit the name of the weapon while trying to keep it somewhat usable, making it a little unique from the other knifes

That's the best stats for this weapon by far
On backstab: enemies in an area around target are marked for death for a few seconds
On backstab: gavel breaks and has to recharge to be used again
maybe instead a damage penalty on backstab that starts at 25% and ends at 100%?
